way busy.
which means, perfect time to avoid working by making an update, yeah?
total cram time at the mo, but by the end of 3 weeks from now, i should have a lot more actual posts of art here [and be able to get my nudie arse of the main page.] i still have to read the updated submission rules [apparently, it's a cause for many great artists here to leave?]..
basically scrambling together all sorts of work in attempts to create a reel/dvd of motion graphics and a website. as they are technically assignments, they have a time limit and i can't necessarily devote the amount of time i'd like to it.. but hopefully shall turn out decently..
back to work..

hm.. i really ought to start posting here again..
lately most art is in a non-readily postable form.. so.. yeah. [excuses]..
am back in classes, apparently my most slack off semester yet. am very excited about that. especially because i've unfortunately hit the "i don't wanna!" phase.. very much, "oh? assignments? i don't wanna.. go to class? i don't wanna!" but.. i do anyway. such a good little child. meh.
but, what i meant to say was that because i am taking less credits, i also have more free time [in addition to not being able to get an internship], so will (hopefully, hopefully) be devoting said off-time to something productive. such as working on the long-overdue revamp on the website [halted, due to craptacular computer, resulting in wiping drives and relocation of files] and assorted craftiness of the needle + thread kind. loosely translated into knitting, crocheting, and general sewing. if i knew what was best for me, i'd whip my ass into gear and start producing more 2D art, since i will hopefully be presenting my portfolio to various art schools, sometime in the near to distant future [provided i am granted mucho dinero from a fairy godmother], and many suggest non-video/computer formatted portfolios................. eh.. which is the majority of my work. motion graphics and artsy film. i have a slew of half-finished pieces, not much actually up to par for presenting-wise. alas. in addition, i have the opportunity to have a one-person show through the school sometime in january, but.. again, the problem of non-2d work. blargh.
anyway.. just letting everyone know i haven't died yet.
back to doing things.

oi... i am apparently rather slack about keeping my DA up to date. i've mainly been working with digital video [filming, compositing, editing, etc] so i haven't had much work to litter across these pages as of late. i have a backlog of things i need to post, as well as several sculptures that i must photograph before submitting to genesis [juried collegestudent art exhibit at pfac].. i will eventually get to it. [crosses fingers behind back.] erm.. yes.

obviously way overdue for a DA journal update..
basically have too many fingers in too many pies. am attempting to cram a bunch of credits between now and the end of spring06 in order to graduate with an associates degree in computer arts with multimedia communication design certificate and an associates degree in fine arts. at which point i will transfer out to get more schoolings.. yay. it's all do-able.. but a bit overwhelming. so yes.. very busy.
is unfortunate as am very tempted to work on non-school related art and various projekts [in addition to clothing reconstruction and stencilry, i have become a knitting-knerd..] but must refrain. at least my website [which i sorely overdue for a revamp] will definitely be redone by the end of the semester, since one of the classes will be to produce an online portfolio.
so.. generally frustrated as there is much to be done, not enough time to do it in, and more things i want to accomplish. over-extended. much stress for the time being, but shall hopefully come out of it all super-awesome. cheers.
